Just a reminder that Physiotherapy, Chiropractic and Counselling services are now available at the Federation Office free of charge for members of our PHYSIOTHERAPY & COUNSELLING SERVICES FOR GROUP INSURANCE MEMBERS Group Insurance Scheme.
Please be assured that these new services are provided in strict compliance with all guidelines relating to the current Covid-19 pandemic.

Northumbria Police Federation Group Insurance Scheme provides cover as follows:-
SERVING OFFICERS
Subscriptions for Serving Officers are currently £24.50 (Member only) with the option to take out Spouse Life Assurance cover of £60,000 for an additional £5.00 per month.

TOP UP LIFE ASSURANCE
Northumbria Police Federation have negotiated with our brokers Arthur J Gallagher for serving officers and their partners subscribing to our Group Insurance Scheme to offer 3 easy options to increase Life Cover as follows:
- £7.15 per month offering an additional £50,000 cover
- £9.65 per month offering an additional £75,000 cover
- £12.21 per month offering an additional £100,000 cover
- Serving Officer Application Form
- Partner Application Form
These forms should be completed and returned to the Federation Office in the first instance. Please note that we are then required to forward all completed application forms to the insurers for their consideration, following which we will confirm cover by email to applicants, together with the date this will commence.
RETIRED OFFICERS
Subscriptions for Retired Officers are currently £34.90 (Member only) and an extra £9.95 for the additional Partner Life Assurance. These amounts are deducted monthly via pension payments. Retired Officers may remain in the Scheme until they reach the age of 75 years, however there is no life assurance included in the police from 70 to 75 years.

POLICE STAFF
Subscriptions for Police Staff are currently £26.90 (Member only) and an extra £4.95 for the additional Partner Life Assurance. Membership for Police Staff ceases at the age of 70 years or on leaving the employment of Northumbria, if earlier.
The benefits for Police Staff are as follows:-

- Spouse Life Assurance of £10,000 (if applicable)
